Com o propósito de levar educação em tecnologia para jovens periféricos de forma gratuita, a iniciativa DEV nasce como um projeto independente, apoiado por profissionais dispostos a compartilhar o que sabem com quem tem fome de aprender.
A identidade visual parte dessa mesma lógica: comunicar de forma direta, próxima e generosa. Para isso, foi criada uma família de personagens que atua como ponte entre a iniciativa e os alunos — funcionando não apenas como recurso gráfico, mas como voz ativa do projeto como um todo.

With the purpose of providing free technology education to underprivileged youth, iniciativa DEV was born as an independent project supported by professionals willing to share what they know with those eager to learn.
The visual identity follows the same logic: to communicate in a direct, approachable, and generous way. To achieve this, a family of characters was created to serve as a bridge between the initiative and the students — functioning not only as a graphic element but as an active voice of the project.
